Authorities in Attica, arresting three people and revealing a space that had been turned into a complete laboratory for the processing and reformulation of substances.
The searches seized more than 10.5 kilograms of heroin and more than 2,2 kilograms of cocaine, while the estimated economic benefit to the organization exceeds 339.000 euros.
The arrests were made on Friday (22/5) by officers of the Sub-Division of Narcotics in different areas of Attica. They are two residents, aged 58 and 55 years old, as well as a 71-year-old foreigner. The case file also includes a 52-year-old foreign prisoner, who allegedly played a leading and guiding role in the network.
The investigation began when the 71-year-old was spotted at a long-distance bus station carrying a cloth bag containing a shoebox. Inside, a package containing 20 grams of “brutal” cocaine had been carefully concealed for shipment. According to the investigation, the quantity in question had been obtained from the 58-year-old man, who was allegedly acting on behalf of the incarcerated defendant.
Subsequently, searches were conducted at homes, a shop and a specially designed area used exclusively as a drugs processing laboratory. There, police officers found large quantities of substances and equipment used for their adulteration and packaging.

- 10 kilograms and 508 grams of heroin
- 2 kilograms and 261,5 grams of cocaine
- 421 grams of cannabis
- 36 grams of “boiled” cocaine
- 4 tablets of ecstasy
- 4.175 grams of an unknown chemical
At the same time, the authorities found and seized a pistol, large sums of money in different currencies, a car, 5 precision scales, 7 mobile phones, but also processing equipment, such as a hydraulic press, a metal mould and an electric stirrer, along with numerous packaging materials.
