Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has made a post about Donald Trump, just hours after the shooting incident near White House.
He appeared relieved that the US president was not in danger, and was particularly keen to point to the close relationship he has developed with Israel over the years.
“I am relieved that President Donald Trump the best friend Israel has ever had in the White House is safe and that the shooter was neutralized before he could cause any further harm.”

Netanyahu: Condemned political violence
In the same statement, Netanyahu also addressed the issue of political violence, sending a clear message after the new incident in the US.
“Political violence, including the repeated attempts to assassinate President Trump, must be condemned unequivocally and decisively by all,” the Israeli prime minister said.
