Alexis Tsipras is preparing to unveil his new party in Thiseio but instead of the balcony, he will be putting his comrades on the SYRIZA.

According to reports, Alexis Tsipras does not want SYRIZA MPs to attend the presentation of his new party at Thiseio, with some exceptions. This is to avoid the truth, that is, that he is creating a SYRIZA 2.0.

The former prime minister has sent a signal to Koumoundourou that SYRIZA MPs and executives should not appear, except in the cases he wishes. This will also make it easier for Socrates Famellos, who has not yet officially declared the end of SYRIZA.

Of course, he may be communicatively sending them into obscurity and disparaging them once again, but he will necessarily accept most of them, since they are necessary for the votes. And as we hear he has made contacts with powerful men in the press and channels so that they will not invite Syriza MPs and executives as representatives of his party but a group of 20 people who have received communication lessons from an old associate of Giorgos Papandreou.

So he changes the marquee and the façade but the content remains the same. Besides, both its leadership team and its positions remain the same since the Syriza era.

As for the deputies and executives of Syriza? They probably don’t care much about their dignity, as their political survival comes first.

With some exceptions, like Paulos Polakis, which will soon draw a line in the TsiprasFamellos plans.
