PPP Mini Parks: modern urban green spaces
The PPC Mini Parks are modern recreational and green spaces that offer a unique experience for visitors of all ages, contributing locally to the reduction of temperature, as well as improving the quality of life of the residents.
The PPP has undertaken the design, construction and maintenance of 23 PPP Mini Parks across the country, which were implemented at locations selected in collaboration with local municipalities. With an average surface area of 300 square metres, the areas were designed based on the specific characteristics of each area, in order to be functionally and aesthetically integrated into the urban environment.
The 23 PPC Mini Parks include new urban equipment, a modern irrigation system and upgraded infrastructure that enhance the functionality and safety of visitors. Specifically, they feature wooden benches, solar benches with USB port, lighting fixtures, water points , as well as special infrastructure such as bird nests and animal waterers, a book exchange area and an activity area for children, creating a welcoming and pleasant environment for young and old alike.
A key element of the PPC Mini Parks is the planting of a variety of trees, shrubs, ornamental and climbing plants that create small green oases in the city, enhance biodiversity and help reduce temperatures. At the same time, the modern irrigation system ensures the proper maintenance and durability of the plantings throughout the year.
Focusing on sustainable development and supporting local communities, PPC implements initiatives that enhance public space and contribute to improving the quality of life of their residents.
