The Nikos Androulakis is warning those who publicly deviate from PASOK’s line, amid acute inward-looking and intense polling pressure.<\/p>\n

As PASOK<\/strong> seeks a way to halt the populist retreat<\/strong> and curb the ongoing episodes of introspection<\/strong>, Nikos Androulakis<\/strong> sent a clear message in every direction, especially to the Charis Doukas: anyone who publicly differs from the official party line will have no place in the next day of the party.<\/p>\n

Androulakis’ silence on introversion, with an eye on the polls<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Talking to ONE Channel, the PASOK<\/strong> president made it clear that anyone who publicly questions the party’s strategy will be out of the party. “You can be sure that you will not be a member of our party the next day,” he said, arguing that the goal is political change<\/strong> and the removal of the current government, with PASOK claiming a mandate to govern based on its programme.<\/p>\n

The stern warning came in the wake of the debate opened by the statements of Charis Doukas<\/strong>, although the leadership was quick to clarify that the Athens mayor is not in the crosshairs. Press spokesman Kostas Tsoukalas<\/strong> argued that only anyone who “cancels the party’s strategy” is out of line, insisting that Dukas did no such thing.<\/p>\n

At the same time, a new debate was sparked by Nikos Papandreou’s statements, who advocated an autonomous course<\/strong> in the elections, while leaving all possibilities open for the next day. He said the election result will determine developments and no scenario can be ruled out.<\/p>\n

New messages of discipline in every direction, with threats of expulsion<\/b><\/h3>\n

Other party officials also took the same line of strict party discipline. Tonia Antoniou<\/strong>, a member of the Executive Council, stressed that there may be different approaches, but everyone is bound by the decisions of the congress, which define New Democracy<\/strong> as the main political opponent.<\/p>\n

Andreas Spyropoulos<\/strong>, a member of the Political Council, stressed that cadres cannot position themselves differently from what has been collectively decided, while MP Michalis Katrinis recommended greater caution and restraint in public interventions.<\/p>\n

With intra-party divergences causing constant headaches in Charilaou Trikoupis, the leadership seems to be investing more in discipline<\/strong> than in pluralism, considering that the image of unity is a prerequisite for the recovery of the party’s ratings.
