According to <b>the EMY<\/b> and the <b>forecasts by meteorologists<\/b>, the phenomena will be severe in some areas, with increased <b>electrical activity<\/b>, sudden <b>intensification of winds and possible hailstorms, creating conditions of a temporary but intense deterioration in weather<\/b> mainly in <b>northern and central Greece<\/b>. The regions that appear to be under the <b>greatest pressure from the instability include Macedonia, Thrace<\/b>, <b>Chalkidiki, and Thessaly<\/b>, while it cannot be ruled out that <b>these phenomena may extend further south, with Attica<\/b> and <b>Central Greece<\/b> being affected locally. The peak <b>of the bad weather<\/b> is expected at noon and <b>in the afternoon on Friday<\/b>, before a <b>gradual easing<\/b> begins from <b>Saturday into Sunday<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>The <b>National Meteorological Service (EMY) issued an emergency weather advisory<\/b>, warning <b>of very severe weather conditions<\/b> in at least six regions. As <b>noted, the phenomena will be temporarily accompanied by strong winds (squalls)<\/b>, frequent lightning, <b>while there is a possibility of local hailstorms<\/b>.<\/p>\n<h3>Kolidas: The weather is changing significantly; the areas where these phenomena are expected mainly on Friday and Saturday<br \/><\/h3>\n<p>As reported by the former director of the National Meteorological Service and Star meteorologist Thodoris Kolydas, the weather picture is changing significantly, \u201cwith instability peaking from Friday into Saturday.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In fact, he emphasizes that caution will be needed in \u201cMacedonia, Thrace, Chalkidiki, Thessaly, the Sporades, and possibly Euboea,&#8221; while warning of severe weather, including hailstorms.<\/p>\n<p>A gradual improvement in the weather is expected starting Sunday.<\/p>\n<figure>\n<div class=\"embed-responsive\">   <\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<h3>Kolyda&#8217;s post<br \/><\/h3>\n<p>\u201cThe weather picture is changing significantly, with instability peaking from Friday into Saturday. Rain and local thunderstorms are expected mainly in northern and eastern Greece, with particular attention to Macedonia, Thrace, Chalkidiki, Thessaly, the Sporades, and possibly Euboea. These phenomena will be localized, but in some areas they may be accompanied by heavy rainfall, lightning, and hail. Starting Sunday, the weather will gradually improve, while northerly winds in the Aegean will strengthen. <\/p>\n<h3>Marousakis: Pay special attention to weather conditions on Friday\u2014After the autumn break, temperatures will reach the 37\u00b0C mark<br \/><\/h3>\n<p>According to Klearchos Marousakis, Friday requires special attention, as thunderstorms may be locally intense and accompanied by hail, in fact, the Open meteorologist notes that there is even a chance of flooding.<\/p>\n<p>The intensity of the weather will peak from noon through the afternoon, while the bad weather will gradually begin to subside from Friday night into Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>In Attica, the weather will remain generally good through Thursday, with only a few clouds in the northern mountains during the afternoon. On Friday, however, local rain and thunderstorms are expected, mainly around noon and in the afternoon. Temperatures will reach up to 34 degrees Celsius, while winds will blow up to 6 Beaufort and locally in Cape Doro up to 7 Beaufort.<\/p>\n<p>Unstable conditions will also prevail in Thessaloniki, with local showers and thunderstorms mainly in mountainous areas. On Friday, these conditions are expected to intensify, while temperatures will hover around 33 degrees Celsius.<\/p>\n<p>Starting this weekend, the unstable conditions will gradually subside, with temperatures temporarily dropping to around 30 degrees and northerly winds strengthening initially in the Ionian Sea and then in the Aegean Sea.<\/p>\n<p>However, this change will not last long.
