And while the former MP may be a likable and low-key figure, nevertheless, the way his appointment was announced confirms everything those who argue that Alexis Tsipras created a party of his own to make the decisions he wants without facing opposition or internal party strife.<\/b><\/p>\n
How democratic is this, and to what extent does it bother the members or those jumping ship from SYRIZA to join their former leader\u2019s new ship? Logically, not at all. After all, the members who are joining are former members of SYRIZA, as are the\u2026 self-organized core groups, but as it turns out, they have no say in the decisions of the party they support.<\/b><\/p>\n
Of course, the comrades are used to such behavior. We must not forget that Congress where Alexis Tsipras made the comrades vote again because he didn\u2019t like the decision they had supported.<\/b> Fortunately, he didn\u2019t have to do it a third time, since SYRIZA members understood what they needed to do by the second vote.<\/p>\n
