Whether you like Kyriakos Mitsotakis <\/b>or not, after yesterday\u2019s interview with Nikos Hatzinikolaou<\/b>, I think everyone can agree on one thing: today there does not seem to be any other political force or figure <\/b>who can govern the country the day after the elections<\/b>.<\/p>\n
Calm, level-headed, knowledgeable about the issues, and with a clear plan, the Prime Minister <\/b>projected the image of a politician who knows exactly where the country stands and where he wants to lead it. Above all, however, he conveyed what citizens are seeking in a time of international uncertainty: stability<\/b>.<\/p>\n
At the same time, a segment of public opinion is showing interest in new parties and new political<\/b> formations<\/b>. This is entirely legitimate. However, to date we have not seen any serious and costed program <\/b>for governance. We hear slogans, general declarations, and easy promises, but when it comes time for numbers <\/b>and implementation, the answers are usually missing.<\/p>\n
It is not uncommon for opposition <\/b>leaders to appear on television panels, present proposals <\/b>and, when asked how they will be implemented and what the cost <\/b>will be, fail to provide specific answers<\/b>. They are more reminiscent of mood<\/b>: I\u2019ll take a shot in the dark <\/b>and see what happens, rather than political seriousness.<\/p>\n
But the country needs seriousness<\/b>, as well as a plan and stability. And today, the comparison <\/b>leads many citizens to a clear conclusion: self-reliance remains the safest choice for the future.<\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
