{"id":10383,"date":"2026-06-12T15:06:00","date_gmt":"2026-06-12T12:06:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.tomanifesto.gr\/?p=10383"},"modified":"2026-06-12T15:06:00","modified_gmt":"2026-06-12T12:06:00","slug":"its-time-for-another-round-of-evaluations-in-the-public-sector-the-second-round-has-begun","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.tomanifesto.gr\/?p=10383","title":{"rendered":"It\u2019s time for another round of evaluations in the public sector; the second round has begun"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Second round of evaluation begins today, where citizens evaluate public<b> services<\/b> via a special online platform, contributing to the improvement and accountability of the <strong>state<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3>How citizens participate in the evaluation<\/h3>\n<p>The second cycle of the <strong>evaluation survey<\/strong> of <strong>Public Administration<\/strong> services began today, Friday, June 12, 2026, enabling citizens to rate online the services provided by the <strong>Central Government<\/strong> and <strong>Local Government<\/strong> via the platform <strong>axiologisi.ypes.gov.gr<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Adult Greek citizens and permanent residents of the country who are registered in the <strong>National Communication Registry (EMEP)<\/strong>. Access to the platform is available either directly or via <strong>gov.gr<\/strong>, under the section \u201cCitizen and Daily Life\u201d and the subsection \u201cCitizens and the Public Sector.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, those who have the <strong>Gov.gr Wallet<\/strong> and have opted for electronic communication with Public Administration bodies via the EMEP will receive a relevant <strong>notification<\/strong> on their mobile phone.<\/p>\n<h3>Rating from 1 to 10<\/h3>\n<p>Citizens log in to the platform using their personal <strong>TaxisNet codes<\/strong>, ensuring the uniqueness of each participation. They then complete a structured online <strong>questionnaire<\/strong>, a process that takes about seven minutes on average.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>evaluation<\/strong> is conducted on a scale from 1 (\u201cnot at all satisfied\u201d) to 10 (&#8220;completely satisfied&#8221;) and covers a wide range of <strong>public services<\/strong> that affect citizens\u2019 daily lives, quality of life, and professional activities.<\/p>\n<p>It should be noted that in the first round of the survey, conducted from May 6 to May 31, 2025, nearly <strong>65,000 citizens<\/strong> participated voluntarily, in a process that marked a milestone for <strong>Public Administration<\/strong>, as it was the first such extensive nationwide evaluation of public services by the citizens themselves.<\/p>\n<h3>Livanios and Papastergiou &#8211; Aiming for improvement<\/h3>\n<p>The aim of the survey is to collect valuable <strong>primary data<\/strong> regarding citizens\u2019 experience and perception of the services provided by the Central Administration and Local Government. The <strong>questionnaire<\/strong>, which is prepared by the <strong>Ministry of the Interior<\/strong>, is regularly updated to meet the current needs of society and the Public Administration.<\/p>\n<p>The Minister of the Interior Theodoros Livanios<b><\/b> described the evaluation of public services by citizens as a \u201cvaluable tool\u201d for improving the functioning of the state, emphasizing that it contributes to <strong>transparency<\/strong>, <strong>accountability<\/strong>, and the design of targeted interventions to upgrade services for citizens.<\/p>\n<p>For his part, the Minister of Digital Governance Dimitris Papastergiou emphasized that the high turnout in the first round demonstrated that citizens want a government that listens, improves, and is accountable.
