In fact, she had been examined by a pediatrician and had received medication, but the child\u2019s condition reportedly worsened. <\/p>\n<p>     The <strong>45-year-old grandfather<\/strong>, who had taken on the care of the child since her parents work outside of Crete, took him to the hospital when he saw that his condition was worsening. <\/p>\n<h3>     <strong>Crete: Doctors fought for 48 minutes<\/strong> <\/h3>\n<p>     Doctors determined that the infant was showing <strong>signs of sepsis<\/strong>. Shortly thereafter, he suffered <strong>cardiopulmonary arrest<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p>     The medical staff immediately began <strong>CPR<\/strong>, fighting for 48 minutes to revive the infant.
