At the close of markets on Friday evening, the price stood at <strong data-start=\"612\" data-end=\"628\">$87.3<\/strong> per barrel, recording a daily decline of more than <strong data-start=\"685\" data-end=\"691\">3%<\/strong>. On a monthly basis, losses reached <strong data-start=\"734\" data-end=\"741\">18%<\/strong>, confirming the significant downturn in international energy markets.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"818\" data-end=\"957\">The picture was similar for the U.S. <strong data-start=\"863\" data-end=\"870\">WTI<\/strong>, which closed at <strong data-start=\"893\" data-end=\"909\">$84.8<\/strong> per barrel, following the same downward trend.<\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"15xgnwo\" data-start=\"959\" data-end=\"1000\"><b>What to expect at Greek gas stations<\/b><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1002\" data-end=\"1355\">Fuel market<strong data-start=\"1017\" data-end=\"1036\">fuel market<\/strong> estimate that the drop in international prices will begin to be reflected at gas stations starting early next week, and specifically from <strong data-start=\"1177\" data-end=\"1186\">Tuesday<\/strong> onwards. As they note, the downward trend recorded both on a weekly basis and over the last 24 hours is expected to gradually feed through to retail prices.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1357\" data-end=\"1707\">According to the latest data from the Ministry of Development, the average price of <strong data-start=\"1436\" data-end=\"1458\">unleaded gasoline<\/strong> stands at <strong data-start=\"1477\" data-end=\"1497\">2 euros per liter<\/strong>, while the <strong data-start=\"1506\" data-end=\"1527\">diesel fuel<\/strong> is at <strong data-start=\"1542\" data-end=\"1565\">1.74 euros per liter<\/strong>. Already, in several regions of the country and particularly in major urban centers, unleaded gasoline is available below the psychological threshold of <strong data-start=\"1696\" data-end=\"1706\">2 euros<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1709\" data-end=\"2069\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">Market estimates suggest that <strong data-start=\"1756\" data-end=\"1778\">fuel prices<\/strong> will move to even lower levels in the coming period.
