{"id":10678,"date":"2026-06-14T18:19:00","date_gmt":"2026-06-14T15:19:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.tomanifesto.gr\/?p=10678"},"modified":"2026-06-14T18:19:00","modified_gmt":"2026-06-14T15:19:00","slug":"haris-doukas-now-featuring-texts-written-by-ai","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.tomanifesto.gr\/?p=10678","title":{"rendered":"Haris Doukas, now featuring texts written by AI"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The claim made by many that <b>Haris Doukas<\/b> has left the <b>Municipality of Athens<\/b> on autopilot is likely well-founded.<\/p>\n<p>Because beyond the municipal authority\u2019s obvious absence from its core duties in the city of Athens, <b>Haris Doukas<\/b> generally gives the impression that he treats his municipal duties as a secondary task.<\/p>\n<p>First, he cares about <b>PASOK<\/b> and its internal affairs, then about how to attack the government, then how to engage in political flirtation with <b>Alexis Tsipras<\/b> and the Left in general, and only then what will happen with Athens. And when he talks about municipal issues, he does so only when he needs to satisfy some far-left demand.<\/p>\n<p>So the mayor of Athens posted a message that winks at the Left\u2019s demands regarding refugees. Expected.<\/p>\n<p>What was striking is that in the original text of his post, as shown in the photo, there were also&#8230; comments on the text\u2019s structure, which appear to have been generated by AI. Even his own texts, the mayor of Athens feeds into ChatGPT to have them drafted.<\/p>\n<p>So artificial intelligence seems to be giving him suggestions on word stress, syntax, and whether what he writes makes sense: \u201cThe stress is correct. The only additional change I would suggest is a comma in \u2018position, so as to provide an outlet,\u2019 which helps the flow without changing the meaning at all,\u201d notes at the end of the post <b>Douka<\/b>, as he apparently forgot to delete the AI\u2019s suggestions.<\/p>\n<p>If the mayor of the country\u2019s largest municipality is leaving his texts to artificial intelligence, then what exactly are we to assume about his duties at City Hall?
