Shortly after 2:00 p.m. on Monday (06\/15), the platform for eligibility certificates for the program<\/b> \u201cRenovation<\/strong> of Residential Properties<\/strong>\u201d and interested parties can already, using their Taxisnet codes, check whether they meet the eligibility criteria<\/b>, in order to prepare for the application submission period, which begins on September 1<\/b>.<\/p>\n The program provides for a subsidy of up to 95% of the cost of the work<\/b>, with a maximum grant amount of 36,000 euros per residence<\/strong> or 300 euros per square meter.<\/p>\n The highest subsidy rate applies to homes in mountainous and island regions<\/b>, as well as households belonging to vulnerable social groups, such as large and single-parent families and people with disabilities.<\/p>\n Eligibility<\/b> applies to residences with a building permit that was issued by the end of 1990<\/b>, with a floor area of up to 120 square meters<\/b>. For families with three or more children<\/b>, the limit increases to 150 square meters<\/b>.<\/p>\n In addition, the residences must fall into energy class C<\/b>, not have been included in a similar program after January 1, 2020, and not be registered under a short-term lease arrangement.<\/p>\n Homes that either remain vacant during the 2024\u20132025 period or are occupied<\/b> are eligible for the program.<\/p>\n Applications will be evaluated in stages<\/b>. Priority will be given to applications for lower subsidy amounts, followed by applications approaching the maximum subsidy limit of 36,000 euros<\/b>.<\/p>\n 1. Properties used or intended for short-term rental are excluded from the program<\/b>.<\/p>\n 2. The Certificate of Eligibility does not constitute approval of funding<\/b>. The final decision will be made after the submission of the complete application and the review of the supporting documents.<\/p>\n 3. Applications will be reviewed in order of priority<\/b>. Initially, priority will be given to vacant properties, followed by occupied residences. In addition, applications with a lower requested subsidy amount are expected to be prioritized in the evaluation.<\/p>\n 4. The energy performance certificate<\/b> (EPC) and the electronic building ID<\/b> are critical<\/b> and may create obstacles<\/b> to the completion of the application.<\/p>\n 5. The subsidy is not paid directly to the owner, but through a special escrow account and is released gradually to pay for work and suppliers<\/b>.
