EKO<\/b>, a member of HELLENiQ ENERGY,<\/b> becomes the first lubricants manufacturer in the world to publish Environmental Product Declarations <\/b>(EPDs).<\/p>\n
The publication was made in the International EPD System (Environmental Product Declarations), as it directly met the requirements set internationally for the publication of environmental performance data by companies in the sector.<\/p>\n
Environmental Product Declarations cover a wide range of seven product categories, from automotive engine oils to industrial, hydraulic, marine and other<\/b> lubricants. Through EPDs, EKO provides science-based and verified data on the environmental footprint of its products, enhancing transparency and enabling customers and partners to make informed decisions. <\/p>\n
At the same time, it facilitates the assessment of key environmental parameters such as energy consumption, CO\u2082 emissions and waste management. <\/p>\n
This initiative confirms EKO’s ongoing commitment to responsible operations, sustainable development and the adoption of international best practices throughout the life cycle of its products – from production to use and end-of-life management. For the implementation of the action, EKO has partnered with the independent inspection, verification and certification body EUROCERT. <\/p>\n
