Because the distribution of the toxin varies, <b>no part of the fish is considered safe to eat. <\/b>Although the rabbitfish\u2019s bite <b>is not <\/b>toxic<b>, its particularly powerful jaws, which resemble a <b>beak<\/b>, can cause <b>serious injuries <\/b>and severe <b>bleeding<\/b>.<\/p>\n<h3>   The Health Department of the Hellenic Red Cross recommends:<\/h3>\n<p>   *<b> Immediately clean the wound<\/b> with plenty of running clean water and soap. Do not use topical antiseptics without a doctor\u2019s instruction.<\/p>\n<p>   * Apply <b>steady pressure with clean gauze<\/b> or a clean cloth.
