{"id":11007,"date":"2026-06-16T12:10:00","date_gmt":"2026-06-16T09:10:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.tomanifesto.gr\/?p=11007"},"modified":"2026-06-16T12:10:00","modified_gmt":"2026-06-16T09:10:00","slug":"zacharos-on-palestinian-flags-at-pride-they-should-go-to-palestine-video","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.tomanifesto.gr\/?p=11007","title":{"rendered":"Zacharos on Palestinian flags at Pride: They should go to Palestine (video)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"59\" data-end=\"230\">     Stamatis Zacharos criticized the presence of Palestinian flags at Pride, commenting on the attitude toward LGBTQ rights in countries of the Middle East. <\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"232\" data-end=\"293\">     \u201cThey should hold a Pride event in Palestine\u201d &#8211; Zacharos\u2019s stance <\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"295\" data-end=\"554\">     <strong data-start=\"297\" data-end=\"317\">Stamatis Zacharos<\/strong> criticized those who participated in <strong data-start=\"358\" data-end=\"367\">Pride<\/strong> while holding <strong data-start=\"378\" data-end=\"404\">Palestinian flags<\/strong>, arguing that this choice contradicts the reality experienced by <strong data-start=\"505\" data-end=\"521\">LGBTQI people<\/strong> in certain countries in the region. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"556\" data-end=\"719\">     \u201cI don\u2019t know why these people don\u2019t get a <strong data-start=\"607\" data-end=\"618\">float<\/strong>, hold a <strong data-start=\"634\" data-end=\"643\">Pride<\/strong> in <strong data-start=\"649\" data-end=\"663\">Palestine<\/strong>, whose flags they were holding,\u201d he noted. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"721\" data-end=\"881\">     Continuing his remarks, the journalist spoke of an image that, in his view, is \u201calso <strong data-start=\"835\" data-end=\"851\">shameful<\/strong> for the <strong data-start=\"859\" data-end=\"879\">LGBTQI community<\/strong>.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"883\" data-end=\"1122\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">     As he noted, in these countries, the treatment of people with different <strong data-start=\"966\" data-end=\"995\">sexual orientation<\/strong> is particularly harsh, highlighting that it is evident there how those belonging to the <strong data-start=\"1101\" data-end=\"1121\">LGBTQI community<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"el\" dir=\"ltr\">Zacharos on Pride: \u201cI don\u2019t know why these people don\u2019t get a float and hold a Pride parade in Palestine, whose flags they were holding\u2014and it\u2019s also shameful for the LGBTQI community.
