With Amazon Senior Vice President, Panos Panay<\/strong>, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis<\/strong> met this morning at the Maximos Mansion with Amazon\u2019s Senior Vice President,Panos Panay<\/strong>, with the main topic being the strengthening of the company\u2019s presence in Greece and the new investment opportunities opening up in the country.<\/p>\n During the meeting, Mr. Panay briefed the Prime Minister on the progress of the investment by Amazon Web Services (AWS)<\/strong> to create a new Local Zone<\/strong> in Athens, which is expected to be generally available starting in July<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The new infrastructure will enable businesses<\/strong> and organizations<\/strong> operating in Greece to store and process data<\/strong> within the country, meeting local storage requirements.
