The leaders’ level debate once again turned into a toxicity contest for the opposition<\/b>, while the perpetually angry Nikos Androulakis<\/b> missed another opportunity.<\/p>\n
For some strange reason in PASOK<\/b> they don’t understand that increasingly turning to the left, anti-systemicism and protest is turning the party into a protest movement by joining the “alliance of despair”<\/b> after joining the alliance of xylolus and that of misery.<\/p>\n
They also fail to understand that the party showed an – even minimal – upsurge when it moved institutionally in support of the decision of Kyriakos Mitsotakis<\/b> to cover Cyprus and create an umbrella of defensive armour by mobilising the countries of the European Union as well.<\/p>\n
So, Nikos Androulakis appeared again angry – even exasperated – repeating from the floor of parliament what he says every day, looking for lines that could be played, creating a climate of toxicity with personal attacks on the prime minister.<\/b><\/p>\n
Faced with the anxiety of appearing as a political opponent of Kyriakos Mitsotakis and with his eye on the moves of Alexis Tsipras<\/b>, he chose a “hard rock,” divisive rhetoric with populism as its dominant ingredient. In fact, he appeared to pass under the bar again since what ultimately remained from the debate in parliament was the initiatives of the prime minister – as president of the ruling party – to start the debate on theconstitutional revision<\/b> which will involve more than 20 articles.<\/p>\n
The PASOK president remained stuck in a rhetoric that refers to decades of the last century and to the tactics of Syriza<\/b> under Alexis Tsipras, which Socrates Famellos is desperately seeking to copy.<\/b><\/p>\n
Angry, he chose to appear as the representative of a “coalition of despair” composed of parties seeking a role of existence in the political scene as well as a lifeline for their political survival.<\/p>\n
Dragging in the murky waters of the leftist anti-systemic vote, he misses the opportunity given to him by the split of SYRIZA and leads PASOK to political blunders<\/b>, but above all to its identification with an area that will hardly offer him what he is seeking.<\/p>\n
The comparison once again was a catalyst. <\/p>\n
