\u201cThis cold-blooded beast<\/b> might have gotten away with it if the \u2018notes\u2019 related to Kostis hadn\u2019t been found at his home,\u201d writes Aris Davarakis<\/b> in his post.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The journalist and lyricist is in favor of Giotopoulos<\/b> serving his full sentence, in whose home the notes regarding the murder of Peratikos were found.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe sent seventeen people to their graves\u2014should he not serve a 25-year sentence?<\/b>,\u201d asks Mr. Davarakis, responding to the \u201cleft,\u201d which argues against it, saying he is an elderly man and that \u201cthose of us who want him released from prison on the day he completes the 25 years mandated by law\u2014and not a day sooner\u2014are far-right extremists and fascists.\u201d <\/p>\n

And he continues: \u201cHow many families have suffered from Giotopoulos\u2019s crimes? How many parents, how many minors, how many loved ones, how many friends and siblings? We are countless. And we want justice<\/b>.\u201d <\/p>\n

In closing, she makes a specific reference to SYRIZA MP, Elena Akrita<\/b>, who insists on advocating for Giotopoulos\u2019s release<\/b>, recalling the wife of the late Peratikos and their children, who were left orphaned.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019ll remember Lia from our old circles. Her children were three and five at the time<\/b>…,\u201d Mr. Davarakis wrote characteristically.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is Kostis #Peratikos, the kind, innocent, and sweetest friend to many\u2014and to me. The \u2018notes\u2019 regarding his murder were found at #Giotopoulos\u2019s home\u2014a discovery that greatly aided in the criminal\u2019s conviction. #Kostis was the father of two very young (at the time) children, Michalis and Petros, from his marriage to his childhood friend #LiaRaka. This cold-blooded monster might have gotten away with it if the \u201cnotes\u201d regarding Kostis hadn\u2019t been found in his home. But God loves the thief, and He loves the homeowner too.<\/p>\n

He was caught and sentenced to 17 life sentences for 17 murders.<\/p>\n

In a humane Europe, life sentences mean 25 years in prison.<\/p>\n

Giotopoulos has served nearly 24 years, which is why he was sent back to prison until early 2027 to complete his sentence.<\/p>\n
