{"id":11157,"date":"2026-06-17T08:12:00","date_gmt":"2026-06-17T05:12:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.tomanifesto.gr\/?p=11157"},"modified":"2026-06-17T08:12:00","modified_gmt":"2026-06-17T05:12:00","slug":"dora-bakoyannis-on-alexis-tsipras-the-people-wont-fall-for-it-again-video","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.tomanifesto.gr\/?p=11157","title":{"rendered":"Dora Bakoyannis on Alexis Tsipras: The people won&#8217;t fall for it again (video)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"55\" data-end=\"217\">     Dora Bakoyannis told SKAI that Alexis Tsipras cannot win the elections again, as citizens remember the record of his administration. <\/p>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"yayjpd\" data-start=\"219\" data-end=\"266\">     Criticism of the promises and responsibilities <\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"268\" data-end=\"484\">     <strong data-start=\"270\" data-end=\"291\">Dora Bakoyannis<\/strong>, speaking on the <strong data-start=\"315\" data-end=\"327\">\u201cToday\u201d<\/strong> on <strong data-start=\"332\" data-end=\"340\">SKAI<\/strong>, launched an attack against <strong data-start=\"369\" data-end=\"385\">Alexis Tsipras<\/strong>, expressing her conviction that he cannot prevail politically against the current government. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"486\" data-end=\"764\">     As he noted, the <strong data-start=\"502\" data-end=\"520\">Greek people<\/strong> had believed the former prime minister\u2019s promises, including his pledge that \u201c<b>with a single article and a single law, I will abolish the <\/b>memorandum.\u201d According to her, the events that followed are still fresh in the public\u2019s memory. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"766\" data-end=\"1076\">     Ms. <strong data-start=\"771\" data-end=\"786\">Bakoyannis<\/strong> further argued that Mr. <strong data-start=\"813\" data-end=\"824\">Tsipras<\/strong> is now attempting to shift the blame for the mistakes made during his time in office onto <strong data-start=\"916\" data-end=\"930\">colleagues<\/strong>, presenting himself as uninvolved. However, he acknowledged that this line of reasoning is not easily accepted by the <strong data-start=\"1059\" data-end=\"1075\">Greek people<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1078\" data-end=\"1555\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">     \u201c<strong data-start=\"1079\" data-end=\"1530\">He can\u2019t win us over, because I don\u2019t believe the Greek people will fall for it again. The Greek people believed Tsipras. When he told them, \u2018With one article and one law, I\u2019ll abolish the memorandum,\u2019 they believed him. After everything that happened, the memory is still very fresh.
