{"id":11283,"date":"2026-06-17T15:30:00","date_gmt":"2026-06-17T12:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.tomanifesto.gr\/?p=11283"},"modified":"2026-06-17T15:30:00","modified_gmt":"2026-06-17T12:30:00","slug":"tassos-gaitanis-mitsotakis-is-delivering-on-his-promises-video","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.tomanifesto.gr\/?p=11283","title":{"rendered":"Tassos Gaitanis: Mitsotakis is delivering on his promises (video)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"51\" data-end=\"228\">     Tasos Gaitanis argued that the program of the New Democracy for 2023 cost 9 billion euros, is being fully implemented, and has been endorsed by the public over the opposition\u2019s proposals. <\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"1bxfkh2\" data-start=\"230\" data-end=\"289\">     Comparison of program costs by Tasos Gaitanis <\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"291\" data-end=\"545\">     The <b>Secretary General of <\/b>Research<b> and <\/b>Technology, <strong data-start=\"341\" data-end=\"359\">Tassos Gaitanis<\/strong>, speaking on the program <strong data-start=\"383\" data-end=\"409\">\u201cBehind the Lines\u201d<\/strong> on <strong data-start=\"414\" data-end=\"426\">Action24<\/strong>, discussed a comparison of the costs of the government\u2019s and the opposition\u2019s platforms during the 2023 elections. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"547\" data-end=\"700\">     As noted, the <strong data-start=\"565\" data-end=\"599\">New Democracy\u2019s program<\/strong> had been <strong data-start=\"605\" data-end=\"637\">costed at 9 billion euros<\/strong> and, as he argued, \u201c<strong data-start=\"661\" data-end=\"698\">is being fully implemented and carried out<\/strong>.\u201d <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"702\" data-end=\"894\">     At the same time, he noted that the <strong data-start=\"728\" data-end=\"775\">programs of the opposition parties<\/strong> had been estimated to cost a total of <strong data-start=\"808\" data-end=\"824\">30 billion euros<\/strong>, emphasizing that the citizens did not, as he put it, choose <strong data-start=\"881\" data-end=\"893\">populism<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"896\" data-end=\"1300\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">     \u201cIt is telling that in 2023, our program was costed at <strong data-start=\"966\" data-end=\"976\">9 billion<\/strong>, and it is being fully implemented and carried out. And the programs of the <strong data-start=\"1058\" data-end=\"1076\">opposition parties<\/strong> were estimated at <strong data-start=\"1100\" data-end=\"1111\">30 billion<\/strong>.
