\u201cWe are not preparing at all for elections<\/b>,\u201d said the New Democracy spokesperson, Alexandra Sdoukou,<\/b> reiterating that the elections will take place at the end <\/b>of the four-year term<\/b>.<\/p>\n

\u201cFrom the very first day he was elected, Mr. Mitsotakis has been touring the country. It is part of the culture <\/b>of both the prime minister and our party <\/b>to tour every corner of Greece,\u201d emphasized Al. Sdoukou <\/b>in response to a comment regarding the activities of Kyriakos Mitsotakis.<\/b><\/p>\n

She explained why the elections <\/b>will be held \u201cat the end of the term, in the spring of 2027<\/b>,\u201d she emphasized that the government\u2019s goal is \u201cto wrap up all the pending issues <\/b>from our government program.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is important to us because it demonstrates reliability<\/b>. You will see many projects being completed. We have many inaugurations <\/b>to hold,\u201d she emphasized.<\/p>\n

For Samaras\u2019s party<\/h3>\n

\u201cI can cite numerous statements by New Democracy officials<\/b> and top government ministers, all of whom have more or less expressed respect <\/b>for the former prime minister. And Kyriakos Mitsotakis<\/b> himself has done the same,\u201d Ms. Sdoukou emphasized in response to a question about what would happen if Antonis Samaras<\/b> were to found a new party.<\/p>\n

She also emphasized that \u201cthe intentions of all those who spoke positively about the former prime minister<\/b>\u201d are \u201csincere<\/b>,\u201d she added that \u201che is a former prime minister with nearly half a century of political experience<\/b>. I believe he will weigh his options and do what he considers right in his own conscience.\u201d<\/p>\n

Taxation on dividends<\/h3>\n

\u201cWith a 5% tax<\/b> on dividends, we generate by far the most tax revenue,\u201d<\/b>, emphasized the New Democracy spokesperson in response to the relevant criticism from the opposition<\/b>.<\/p>\n
