The position that the so-called “technical solution”<\/strong> to OPEKEPE <\/b>is absolutely legal<\/strong> and does not involve an economic dimension, said the former vice-president of the agency, Dimitra Halikia<\/strong>, speaking on Skai radio<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

As she said, the procedure followed for the allocation of vegetable land<\/strong> is explicitly provided for by the current institutional framework, stressing that the relevant decisions and approvals by the relevant ministers are “perfectly legal”<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

She referred by name to ministers Apostolou, Arachovitis, Voridis, Livanos and Georgantas<\/strong>, noting that the “agree<\/strong>” they have signed are fully in line with the provisions of the KYA<\/strong>, which he said stipulates that ministers must approve the relevant lists.<\/p>\n

He particularly emphasised that this process is not related to financial flows<\/b>, stressing that “there is not even half a euro<\/strong>“, as he explained that ministers “do not sign money or anything”.<\/p>\n

Concluding, Halikia described the allegations as “baseless”<\/strong> and “completely unfounded<\/strong>“, dismissing any suggestion of irregularity in the practice.<\/p>\n
