His views on the government\u2019s political opponents, and especially on Nikos Androulakis<\/b> and Alexis Tsipras,<\/b> were reiterated once again by Health Minister Adonis Georgiadis.<\/p>\n

The health minister, referring to the leader of the Greek Left Coalition<\/b>, described him as Machiavelli<\/b>, arguing that \u201che\u2019ll wipe them all out in SYRIZA <\/b>like eggs<\/b>.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMost people in SYRIZA <\/b>are politically doomed <\/b>because they can\u2019t get into Parliament without Tsipras<\/b>\u201d he said pointedly.<\/p>\n

Regarding the president of PASOK <\/b>Nikos Androulakis<\/b>, he stated that it is over, while regarding Anna Diamantopoulou<\/b> , he noted that she has been sidelined within her party.<\/p>\n

Speaking this morning (June 18) on a program on Action24<\/b>, the health minister, when asked to comment on current political events, referred to Alexis Tsipras, stating:<\/p>\n

\u201cTsipras, who is Machiavelli <\/b>, set this whole thing up from the start; he never left SYRIZA<\/b>, he sidelined them and let them be torn apart, devouring them one by one.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m struck by how the 15%<\/b> in the polls; let me remind you that Kasselakis <\/b>got 15.6% in the European elections.<\/b><\/p>\n

Why was it a bitter failure for <\/b>Kasselakis\u2014who got torn apart at the bouzouki club <\/b>\u2014but a success for Tsipras?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cTsipras will wipe them all out like eggs<\/b>\u2014of the ones you see here, he won\u2019t get three-quarters of them; at most, he\u2019ll get Gero-Vassilis, Famellos, and Zachariadis<\/b>\u2014because if he takes too many, it\u2019ll turn into SYRIZA and he\u2019ll fall flat again<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Most of them are politically doomed because they can\u2019t get into Parliament without Tsipras. \u201cWhen elections are held, it\u2019s over for Nikos Pappas, Rena Dourou, and Pavlos Polakis<\/b>. None of them will run again,\u201d he added in this context.<\/p>\n

Diamantopoulou is a good politician, but she got the short end of the stick in her party<\/h3>\n

Referring to the feud between Diamantopoulou and Douka in PASOK<\/b>, the Minister of Health and vice president of New Democracy said of the former minister, \u201cShe got the short end of the stick.\u201d<\/p>\n

At the party\u2019s recent convention, Douka\u2019s line prevailed, calling for a resolution stating that there is absolutely no chance they will ever cooperate with New Democracy. Although they denied Douka\u2019s proposal <\/b> on TV, it was approved.<\/p>\n

Now I want to tell my dear Anna Diamantopoulou <\/b>that it\u2019s too late for tears now, because she can\u2019t say anything since the convention decided that I won\u2019t be working with Mitsotakis<\/b>. She should have said all this before the PASOK<\/b> convention.\u201d<\/p>\n

Androulakis is politically finished<\/h3>\n

Regarding the president of PASOK, Nikos Androulakis,<\/b> the health minister assessed that \u201che is politically finished<\/b>. There are two paths ahead for Mr. Androulakis<\/b>: either his own party will oust him before the elections, or if he drops below 10<\/b>, there will be a bloodbath there.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s unlikely, however, to happen before the elections <\/b>because he was recently re-elected <\/b>and it would be seen as a betrayal. As soon as he loses the election, though, and comes in 3rd or 4th, they\u2019ll take him down that very day. That\u2019s the ABCs of politics.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe won\u2019t get away with it because he missed his chance. Life gave him a chance to rise from nowhere to become <\/b>the leader of the official opposition <\/b>, and he had 2.5 years to get above 20%.<\/p>\n

If he had surpassed 20%<\/b>, Tsipras <\/b>wouldn\u2019t have been able to form a party. He took the party to 13% and kept it at 13% as the official opposition\u2014that\u2019s what Geroulanos <\/b>was saying about a \u201cstuck needle,\u201d concluded Adonis Georgiadis <\/b> regarding the president of PASOK-KINAL.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
