Employees of the public sector are set to receive significant financial support, as payments of the allowance for hazardous and unhealthy work<\/strong> for specific positions within the Ministry of Rural Development and Food.<\/p>\n

The relevant Joint Ministerial Decision<\/strong> provides for retroactive payments starting from July 1, 2025<\/strong>, with amounts ranging from 840 to 1,800 euros<\/strong>, depending on each employee\u2019s category and length of service.<\/p>\n

A basic requirement is that beneficiaries be employed full-time and exclusively in workplaces and job roles that justify the payment of the allowance.<\/p>\n

The two categories of beneficiaries and the amounts<\/h2>\n

The ministerial decision divides beneficiaries into two groups, with different allowance amounts.<\/p>\n

The first category includes:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Employees in the PE Geotechnical<\/strong> sector with a specialization in PE Veterinarians<\/strong>, except for those serving exclusively in administrative positions. <\/li>\n
  • Staff Indoor Cleaning Workers<\/strong>. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    These employees will receive 150 euros per month<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    The second category includes employees working in the ministry\u2019s organizational units, such as:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • Laboratory chemists<\/strong> <\/li>\n
    • Laboratory Agronomists<\/strong> <\/li>\n
    • Food technologists<\/strong> <\/li>\n
    • Medical and Biological Laboratory Assistants<\/strong> <\/li>\n
    • Other related professions <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      For these professionals, the allowance is set at 70 euros per month<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

      When does payment of the allowance cease<\/h2>\n

      The granting of the allowance is directly linked to the employee\u2019s duties and working conditions.<\/p>\n

      If an employee is removed, for any reason, from the position or role that justifies the provision of the allowance, payment is immediately suspended at the discretion of the competent authority.<\/p>\n

      Furthermore, the allowance is not paid to:<\/p>\n

        \n
      • Heads of organizational units. <\/li>\n
      • Employees who perform exclusively administrative duties. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        However, there is an exception for certain heads of organizational units who continue to provide services in areas where the conditions for granting the allowance apply.<\/p>\n

        In addition, employees on union leave<\/strong> continue to receive it as usual.<\/p>\n

        On the table: retroactive payments for retired employees<\/h2>\n

        At the same time, the Ministry of Labor is pushing forward measures concerning working retirees<\/strong>, paving the way for retroactive payments averaging 2,500 euros<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

        The changes are linked to the recalculation of pensions<\/strong> and apply to those who continued working after retirement and subsequently ceased their professional activity.<\/p>\n

        The regulation is estimated to affect tens of thousands of retirees, who expect both increases in their benefits and the payment of retroactive amounts resulting from the new calculation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
