The Ministry of Tourism is moving forward with planning the new program \u201cTourism for All 2026-2027″<\/strong>, with an emphasis on expanding the pool of beneficiaries and supporting vulnerable social groups. <\/p>\n

According to the plan, the program will run for a longer period, cover more households, and aim to boost tourism beyond the summer months. Particular emphasis is placed on people with disabilities<\/strong>, large families<\/strong>, and the development of mountain tourism<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Applications are expected to open in August 2026<\/strong>, and beneficiaries will be selected via an electronic lottery. <\/p>\n

Two phases with an emphasis on the winter months <\/h2>\n

The new program will be implemented in two distinct phases. <\/p>\n

The first phase will begin shortly and will be completed on June 30, 2027<\/strong>. The second phase will follow in early 2027 and will remain active until December 31, 2027<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

No new lottery is planned for the second phase. Beneficiaries will be selected from among those not chosen in the first round, in order to ensure the program\u2019s continuity and the best possible use of available resources. <\/p>\n

At the same time, 70% of the total budget<\/strong> will be allocated to the months from October through April. This decision is part of a strategy to boost tourism outside the peak season and is linked to efforts to promote lesser-known mountain destinations. <\/p>\n

Income thresholds are increasing <\/h2>\n

One of the most significant changes concerns the income criteria. The new thresholds are being raised, allowing more middle-class households to join the program. For example, the threshold for unmarried individuals without children is increasing from 19,000 euros to 21,000 euros<\/strong>, while for married couples without children, it rises from 31,000 euros to 33,000 euros<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

For families with more children, the maximum income limits rise even further, reaching up to 58,000 euros<\/strong>, significantly broadening the base of potential beneficiaries. <\/p>\n

Special provisions for people with disabilities and large families <\/h2>\n

For the first time, the program allows participation by individuals with a disability rating of 67% or higher<\/strong>, as well as families with a child with a disability, without any income criteria being applied. <\/p>\n

At the same time, additional financial assistance is being introduced for large families. Specifically, a subsidy of 50 euros is provided for each child starting with the fourth and beyond<\/strong>, offering greater support to households with increased needs. <\/p>\n

This provision differs significantly from the previous cycle of the program, where the subsidy amount applied exclusively to the beneficiary. <\/p>\n

Subsidy of up to 600 euros and applications through KEP <\/h2>\n

The digital voucher remains the primary tool for accessing the subsidy through the platforms gov.gr<\/strong> and vouchers.gov.gr<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

At the same time, citizens will be able to submit applications through the KEPs<\/strong>, and a dedicated support mechanism will be in place to assist those interested. <\/p>\n

Subsidy amounts will range from 200 to 600 euros<\/strong>, depending on the beneficiary category and the period of use, with the aim of making it easier for more citizens to take vacations throughout the country. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
