After all, the mayor of Athens believes that the leadership of Nikos Androulakis did not support him in his dispute with Anna Diamantopoulou.

Specifically, Haris Doukas will attend the event on Thursday, June 25, titled “Unprotected Democracy —The Rule of Law in Crisis,” organized by SYRIZA MEP and close associate of Sokratis Famellos, Kostas Arvanitis, in collaboration with the European Left Group. Supporters of Alexis Tsipras, such as Christos Rammos and Iphigenia Kamtsidou, will also speak at the event.

What makes this particularly interesting is not only the participation of Haris Doukas in what is essentially a party event organized by SYRIZA and officials close to the former prime minister, but also the fact that in the relevant announcement, Haris Doukas is presented solely as the mayor of Athens and a professor, while the fact that he is a PASOK official is omitted.

In any case, those at Harilaou Trikoupi are aware of the presence of Haris Doukas at the event organized by the SYRIZA, and they are not particularly pleased with the mayor, who, on the one hand, is causing internal party turmoil and, on the other, is attending events organized by other parties.

Charilaou Trikoupi takes a stand

Some on Charilaou Trikoupi believe that Haris Doukas is starting to… crossing over to the other side, as he appears to be closer than ever to Alexis Tsipras.

That is why the statements made by the party’s press secretary,Kostas Tsoukalas, who essentially backed up what Anna Diamantopoulou said and indirectly distanced himself from Haris Doukas. Specifically, Kostas Tsoukalas fully backed the former minister, stating that the announcement by ELAS supports what Anna Diamantopoulou said—namely, that while the fiscal indicator may appear to be declining, this has not led to an increase in the economic pie or its distribution.

For those in the know, Tsoukalas’s stance indicates that the Androulakis leadership has chosen a side and is particularly annoyed by the antics of Haris Douk. Although the latter has been openly at odds with Alexis Tsipras and SYRIZA.

Haris Doukas appears to be becoming an outsider within PASOK, as his contacts with SYRIZA and ELAS are growing more frequent.
A short while ago, the mayor…

[3

post-11900","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-politics
["GET
