data-end=\"1513\">three people lost their lives<\/strong> as a result of new <strong data-start=\"1522\" data-end=\"1541\">Russian strikes<\/strong> in the regions of <strong data-start=\"1559\" data-end=\"1570\">Poltava<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"1575\" data-end=\"1594\">Dnipropetrovsk<\/strong>, in eastern Ukraine, according to announcements made by local authorities today (June 21). <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1683\" data-end=\"1840\">     These attacks also caused dozens of injuries, while local emergency services continue to assess the damage in the affected areas. <\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"1mfep9b\" data-start=\"1842\" data-end=\"1882\">     Nine injured in Dnipropetrovsk <\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1884\" data-end=\"2130\">     The head of the military command of the <strong data-start=\"1940\" data-end=\"1959\">Dnipropetrovsk<\/strong> region, <strong data-start=\"1961\" data-end=\"1981\">Oleksandr Ganza<\/strong>, reported via Telegram that the attacks included <strong data-start=\"2035\" data-end=\"2052\">bombings<\/strong>, strikes with <strong data-start=\"2067\" data-end=\"2104\">unmanned aerial vehicles (drones)<\/strong>, and <strong data-start=\"2114\" data-end=\"2129\">artillery fire<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2132\" data-end=\"2323\">     \u201cOne person was killed and nine were injured\u201d in bombings, drone attacks, and artillery fire targeting three areas in the Dnipropetrovsk region. <\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"7iwoa9\" data-start=\"2325\" data-end=\"2370\">     Two dead and 13 injured in Poltava <\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"2372\" data-end=\"2594\">     In the <strong data-start=\"2388\" data-end=\"2399\">Poltava<\/strong> region, the head of the local administration <strong data-start=\"2436\" data-end=\"2458\">Vitaly Diakivnich<\/strong> announced that the death toll had risen to two, as one of the injured who had been taken to a hospital succumbed to his injuries. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2596\" data-end=\"2713\">     \u201cTwo people lost their lives, one of whom succumbed to his injuries at the hospital where he had been taken.\u201d <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2715\" data-end=\"2826\">     He added that the attack, which took place on Saturday night, also left <strong data-start=\"2808\" data-end=\"2825\">13 people were injured<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2828\" data-end=\"3086\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">     At the same time, the <strong data-start=\"2848\" data-end=\"2879\">Russian Ministry of Defense<\/strong> announced that Russian air defense forces shot down <strong data-start=\"2942\" data-end=\"2984\">239 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles<\/strong> overnight, in yet another sign of the ongoing tension
