{"id":12053,"date":"2026-06-21T19:04:00","date_gmt":"2026-06-21T16:04:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.tomanifesto.gr\/?p=12053"},"modified":"2026-06-21T19:04:00","modified_gmt":"2026-06-21T16:04:00","slug":"another-blow-from-a-tsipras-administration-official-lets-tax-speedboats-video","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.tomanifesto.gr\/?p=12053","title":{"rendered":"Another &#8220;blow&#8221; from a Tsipras administration official: Let&#8217;s tax speedboats (video)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>     On the issue of increasing <b>taxation<\/b> of luxury lifestyles, the new <b>party<\/b> of <b>Alexis Tsipras<\/b>, through statements made by its officials. <\/p>\n<p>     Speaking yesterday on the Mega Weekend show, ELAS official Haris Athanasiadis was asked about the issue of taxation and replied that his party\u2019s goal is to tax ultra-luxurious lifestyles; in fact, according to his calculations, this tax would generate 600 million euros annually for the state. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>     Today, speaking on Faye Mavragani\u2019s show on SKAI, Marizeta Antonopoulou, a member of the Greek Left Coalition, spoke about taxing \u201c<i>consumer spending associated with a super-luxurious lifestyle<\/i>\u201d and, when asked to explain what she meant, she replied: <\/p>\n<p>     \u201c<i>Our fellow citizens who live in ultra-luxurious apartments, in a new hotel in Athens&#8230;.
