Stathis Stavropoulos<\/b>, the well-known cartoonist, wrote about what is happening between ELAS<\/b> and Alexis Tsipras<\/b> and SYRIZA<\/b>. <\/p>\n
Also known as Stathis<\/b>, he has been a member of the Left for decades and knows the scene like few others. That is why his commentary on what is happening between SYRIZA<\/b> and Alexis Tsipras<\/b> is significant. <\/p>\n
And it shows that even people on the Left see the truth: that the broader political sphere of Alexis Tsipras<\/b>, whether it\u2019s called SYRIZA<\/b> or ELAS<\/b>, lacks credibility. <\/p>\n
In this context, Stathis<\/b> comments that in all his years in politics, he has never seen a troupe like ELAS<\/b> led by Alexis<\/b> Tsipras<\/b>. And he writes that the former prime minister has assembled a motley crew of mediocrities and \u201cold schemers\u201d with diverse ideological backgrounds. <\/p>\n
But didn\u2019t he do the same thing in SYRIZA<\/b>? He had gathered officials of all kinds, from Evangelos Antonaros<\/b> to Stefanos Tzoumakas<\/b> and from Ralia Christidou<\/b> to the members of ANEL<\/b> led by Panos Kammenos<\/b>. <\/p>\n
And he concludes pointedly by writing that… he\u2019s crying over his bosses\u2019 money. It is well known, after all\u2014and Stathis<\/b> knows this all too well\u2014that the former prime minister is being pushed by very powerful centers and oligarchs who want a compliant and weak government. <\/p>\n
Nikos Karanikas<\/b> says more or less the same thing, both regarding the caliber of the officials working alongside Alexis Tsipras<\/b> as well as who is pushing the former prime minister and his party\u2014and why. <\/p>\n
