{"id":12098,"date":"2026-06-22T09:14:00","date_gmt":"2026-06-22T06:14:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.tomanifesto.gr\/?p=12098"},"modified":"2026-06-22T09:14:00","modified_gmt":"2026-06-22T06:14:00","slug":"adonis-georgiadis-on-psara-i-have-a-moral-obligation-to-visit-and-see-the-new-health-center-video","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.tomanifesto.gr\/?p=12098","title":{"rendered":"Adonis Georgiadis on Psara: I have a moral obligation to visit and see the new Health Center (video)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"55\" data-end=\"212\">     Adonis Georgiadis announced a visit to Psara, highlighting the new Health Center , the residences doctors&#8217; residences, and the State\u2019s historic debt. <\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"1geuef8\" data-start=\"214\" data-end=\"260\">     The project in Psara and Adonis Georgiadis\u2019s historic gratitude <\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"262\" data-end=\"569\">     <strong data-start=\"264\" data-end=\"301\">Health Minister Adonis Georgiadis<\/strong>, speaking on Action24\u2019s \u201cProini Zoni\u201d on Action24, announced that he plans to visit <strong data-start=\"409\" data-end=\"417\">Psara<\/strong>, noting that an \u201camazing\u201d <strong data-start=\"484\" data-end=\"501\">Health Center<\/strong> has been established as part of the program to upgrade healthcare infrastructure. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"571\" data-end=\"994\">     As the <strong data-start=\"586\" data-end=\"598\">minister<\/strong> noted, during the planning of this major upgrade program, he had accepted a proposal from the mayor<b> of Psara<\/b>, who presented him with a study regarding the construction of a modern and significant <strong data-start=\"790\" data-end=\"808\">Health Center<\/strong> on the island. Mr. Georgiadis noted that he decided to move forward with the project, while at the same time <strong data-start=\"931\" data-end=\"952\">doctors\u2019 residences<\/strong> were built to strengthen the facility\u2019s staffing. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"996\" data-end=\"1423\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">     He emphasized that the State has a special <strong data-start=\"1050\" data-end=\"1069\">moral obligation<\/strong> toward the <strong data-start=\"1083\" data-end=\"1091\">fishing villages<\/strong>, due to their historical contribution to the War of Independence. As he emphasized, \u201cFor Greece to exist today, Psara, as a place, paid a heavy price,\u201d adding that the return of a small part of this <strong data-start=\"1300\" data-end=\"1326\">historical gratitude<\/strong> by the <strong data-start=\"1335\" data-end=\"1358\">Hellenic Republic<\/strong> toward the island is a duty and a moral obligation of the State. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"el\" dir=\"ltr\">Georgiadis: \u201cI plan to visit Psara this summer, because I\u2019ve built an amazing health center there.
