{"id":12118,"date":"2026-06-22T10:01:00","date_gmt":"2026-06-22T07:01:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.tomanifesto.gr\/?p=12118"},"modified":"2026-06-22T10:01:00","modified_gmt":"2026-06-22T07:01:00","slug":"aris-portosalte-vs-alexis-tsipras-the-same-as-ever-video","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.tomanifesto.gr\/?p=12118","title":{"rendered":"Aris Portosalte vs. Alexis Tsipras: The same as ever (video)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"54\" data-end=\"207\">     Aris Portosalte launched a fierce attack against Alexis Tsipras on SKAI, referring to \u201cnonsense,\u201d \u201cnonsense,\u201d and empty promises. <\/p>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"fnsi81\" data-start=\"209\" data-end=\"257\">     \u201cOn the \u2018Tsipro-tree,\u2019 you can hand out money\u201d <\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"259\" data-end=\"465\">     <strong data-start=\"261\" data-end=\"280\">Aris Portosalte<\/strong>, speaking on the <strong data-start=\"304\" data-end=\"316\">\u201cToday\u201d<\/strong> on <strong data-start=\"321\" data-end=\"329\">SKAI<\/strong>, sharply criticized Alexis Tsipras and those who, as he noted, have taken it upon themselves to publicly support his positions. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"467\" data-end=\"905\">     As he said, <strong data-start=\"497\" data-end=\"511\">associates<\/strong> of the former prime minister have come forward, including a professor, two women<b><\/b> and a <strong data-start=\"600\" data-end=\"618\">businessman<\/strong>, whom he commented on in particular. According to the journalist, this is a man who, in his own professional life, operates within a specific budget, but when it comes to the management of the <strong data-start=\"830\" data-end=\"841\">state<\/strong>, he appears to support policies without fiscal limits. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"907\" data-end=\"1075\">     He characteristically argued that \u201con the <strong data-start=\"950\" data-end=\"966\">Tsiprodentro<\/strong> you can hand out money,\u201d implying that the relevant proposals are based on a logic of uncontrolled spending. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1077\" data-end=\"1488\">     Continuing his criticism, <strong data-start=\"1109\" data-end=\"1123\">Portosalte<\/strong> argued that the arguments put forward in favor of these specific positions go beyond the bounds of serious political debate. As he noted, \u201cnonsense\u201d or \u201cnonsense\u201d are not enough, in his view, to describe what is being said, while he accused the supporters of these views of displaying a persistent <strong data-start=\"1446\" data-end=\"1456\">obsession<\/strong> with this kind of reasoning. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1490\" data-end=\"1693\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">     In closing, he noted that <strong data-start=\"1517\" data-end=\"1535\">Alexis Tsipras<\/strong> remains \u201c<strong data-start=\"1547\" data-end=\"1575\">the same as ever<\/strong>,\u201d noting that his political views and the arguments surrounding him have not changed substantially. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"el\" dir=\"ltr\">Portosalte on Tsipras: \u201cThe same as ever: some associates have come to the fore\u2014a professor, two women, and a businessman who has a budget for his business but, when it comes to running the state, operates on an open-ended budget.
