{"id":12158,"date":"2026-06-22T13:09:00","date_gmt":"2026-06-22T10:09:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.tomanifesto.gr\/?p=12158"},"modified":"2026-06-22T13:09:00","modified_gmt":"2026-06-22T10:09:00","slug":"nikos-pappas-if-famellos-doesnt-want-to-we-need-to-discuss-how-well-handle-the-thessaloniki-international-trade-fair-video","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.tomanifesto.gr\/?p=12158","title":{"rendered":"Nikos Pappas: If Famellos doesn&#8217;t want to, we need to discuss how we&#8217;ll handle the Thessaloniki International Trade Fair (video)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"46\" data-end=\"190\">     Nikos Pappas is asking Sokratis Famellos for clear answers regarding the <strong data-start=\"123\" data-end=\"130\">Thessaloniki International Fair<\/strong>, the program of SYRIZA and its strategy for cooperation. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"192\" data-end=\"417\">     The <strong data-start=\"208\" data-end=\"218\">SYRIZA<\/strong> MP, <strong data-start=\"220\" data-end=\"236\">Nikos Pappas<\/strong>, publicly raised the issue of what lies ahead for the center-left, emphasizing that there are two distinct options for the political parties and leaders in that camp. <\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"1sxoj5a\" data-start=\"419\" data-end=\"453\">     Nikos Pappas: There Are Two Paths Forward for SYRIZA <\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"455\" data-end=\"674\">     As he noted, there will either be a <strong data-start=\"489\" data-end=\"514\">coordinated discussion<\/strong> based on the <strong data-start=\"528\" data-end=\"544\">roadmap<\/strong> proposed by SYRIZA, or everyone will follow their own path, negotiating their political future individually. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"676\" data-end=\"933\">     <strong data-start=\"678\" data-end=\"694\">Nikos Pappas<\/strong> also raised questions regarding the party\u2019s presence at the <strong data-start=\"762\" data-end=\"792\">Thessaloniki International Fair<\/strong>, calling on <strong data-start=\"807\" data-end=\"826\">Socrates Famellos<\/strong> to clarify whether he will participate in the <strong data-start=\"865\" data-end=\"872\">TIF<\/strong> and whether he will hold the customary <strong data-start=\"912\" data-end=\"932\">press conference<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"935\" data-end=\"1146\">     The SYRIZA MP also questioned whether there is any decision preventing the presentation of the <strong data-start=\"1040\" data-end=\"1056\">program<\/strong> on the <strong data-start=\"1078\" data-end=\"1091\">economy<\/strong>, noting that no one has received such an order. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1148\" data-end=\"1368\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">     In conclusion, he argued that if <strong data-start=\"1186\" data-end=\"1198\">Famellos<\/strong> does not wish to take this initiative, then a discussion must be opened immediately on how <strong data-start=\"1302\" data-end=\"1312\">SYRIZA<\/strong> can have a meaningful and organized presence at the <strong data-start=\"1360\" data-end=\"1367\">Thessaloniki International Fair<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"el\" dir=\"ltr\">Pappas: \u201cThere are two clear options before us: either we go together in a coordinated manner to discuss, as we proposed in the roadmap, or each of us will negotiate our own path individually.
