{"id":12162,"date":"2026-06-22T12:45:00","date_gmt":"2026-06-22T09:45:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.tomanifesto.gr\/?p=12162"},"modified":"2026-06-22T12:45:00","modified_gmt":"2026-06-22T09:45:00","slug":"aris-portosalte-the-manifesto-insists-on-an-investigation-into-the-opekepe-scandal-video","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.tomanifesto.gr\/?p=12162","title":{"rendered":"Aris Portosalte: The \u201cManifesto\u201d Insists on an Investigation into the OPEKEPE Scandal (video)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"51\" data-end=\"228\">     Aris Portosalte referred to the scandal OPEKEPE, in the investigation by &#8220;To Manifesto,&#8221; Cognitera\u2019s cease-and-desist letter, and the statements by Georgiadis and Bakogiannis. <\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"167g3sq\" data-start=\"230\" data-end=\"277\">     The survey by \u201cTo Manifesto\u201d and Portosalte\u2019s new reports<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"279\" data-end=\"564\">     <strong data-start=\"281\" data-end=\"300\">Aris Portosalte<\/strong>, speaking on the show \u201cToday\u201d on <strong data-start=\"337\" data-end=\"345\">SKAI<\/strong>, referred to the newspaper <strong data-start=\"373\" data-end=\"389\">To Manifesto<\/strong>, claiming that he is continuing his investigation into the <strong data-start=\"438\" data-end=\"459\">OPEKEPE scandal<\/strong>, focusing on <strong data-start=\"478\" data-end=\"507\">illegal funding<\/strong> and not, as he said, on a possible <strong data-start=\"542\" data-end=\"563\">political conspiracy<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"566\" data-end=\"789\">     According to the journalist, the newspaper gives a platform to <strong data-start=\"622\" data-end=\"641\">Barbara Halikia<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"650\" data-end=\"668\">Dimitris Salatas<\/strong>, who, as he reported, provide additional <strong data-start=\"717\" data-end=\"729\">evidence<\/strong> regarding the <strong data-start=\"745\" data-end=\"788\">private management arm of OPEKEPE<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"791\" data-end=\"956\">     He also noted that one of the companies involved in the relevant reports, <strong data-start=\"883\" data-end=\"896\">Cognitera<\/strong>, sent a <strong data-start=\"908\" data-end=\"919\">cease-and-desist letter<\/strong> to the newspaper \u201c<strong data-start=\"939\" data-end=\"955\">To Manifesto\u201d<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"958\" data-end=\"1163\">     <strong data-start=\"960\" data-end=\"974\">Portosalte<\/strong> further argued that aspects of the <strong data-start=\"1008\" data-end=\"1029\">OPEKEPE scandal<\/strong> have not been adequately discussed in the public sphere, while he assessed that two points have been confirmed by the developments in the case so far. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1165\" data-end=\"1543\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">     As he noted, the first concerns the position of <strong data-start=\"1206\" data-end=\"1225\">Adonis Georgiadis<\/strong>, who had argued that the <strong data-start=\"1259\" data-end=\"1283\">European Public Prosecutor\u2019s Office<\/strong> had created a <strong data-start=\"1299\" data-end=\"1321\">political situation<\/strong> surrounding the case.
