I\u2019m on edge today. Today I\u2019m really on edge, and the truth is, I\u2019ve been this way since yesterday. <\/p>\n
Since yesterday, when I was coming back from Chalkidiki <\/b>and I was stuck in traffic<\/b>. And I\u2019m not upset because I was stuck in traffic. I\u2019m upset because while everyone\u2014or almost everyone\u2014there may have been a few exceptions <\/b>\u2014but there were, we were stuck in traffic for far too long in the two lanes of the road in Thessaloniki \u2013Moudania<\/b> road, some clever people, some smart alecks<\/b>, would get out and step onto the shoulder <\/b>and run past all of us. <\/p>\n
And I, honestly, at that moment, I wish I had the right to pick up my cell phone,<\/b> take a photo <\/b>of the license plates and send it to a platform run by the Traffic Police<\/b>. Let the Traffic Police then investigate whether someone crossed the emergency lane because they had to go to a hospital <\/b>and were in need, or whether they crossed it simply to pass us and go faster. <\/p>\n
And don\u2019t give me any of that snitching <\/b>and other such \u201crevolutionary\u201d nonsense. The real revolution is when you protect <\/b>your own life and the lives of your fellow human beings; the rest is just nonsense to me.\u00a0And we all agree on this, except for those who think they\u2019re just stepping on the LEAs, when in reality they\u2019re stepping on the lives of our fellow human beings. <\/p>\n
And one more thing. I don\u2019t know how all these people would feel if they were dying <\/b>and bleeding <\/b>on the asphalt, listening to an ambulance <\/b>that could never arrive in time, because others like them had blocked the emergency lane.<\/p>\n
Since some people never learn to respect<\/b>, they must learn to fear<\/b> the consequences. It is the state\u2019s duty to find more safeguards <\/b>to protect us. <\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
