In a statement issued by the Swiss Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it welcomed \u201cthe agreement on a roadmap aimed at reaching a final agreement within 60 days<\/b>.\u201d According to the ministry, \u201cthis roadmap creates the conditions for the immediate start of new technical talks.\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n
The two delegations, led by U.S. Vice President Jay D. Vance and the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament Mohammad Bayer Galibaf<\/b> respectively, are departing from Switzerland to allow for the start of closed-door technical talks that will last the entire week at the Burgin the Swiss Alps.<\/b><\/p>\n
Overnight, the governments of Pakistan<\/b> and Qatar <\/b>announced in a joint statement that the two sides \u201chad agreed on a roadmap to reach a final agreement within 60 days, laying the groundwork for the immediate launch of new technical discussions.\u201d<\/p>\n
Iran, through Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi<\/b>, spoke of \u201csignificant progress,\u201d while the United States has not yet commented on the outcome of the talks.<\/p>\n
