At the awards ceremony for 871 ABEK<\/strong> as a unit of the Armed Forces<\/strong> \u201cFriend of the Environment<\/strong>\u201d for 2025, the Minister of National Defense, Nikos Dendias<\/strong>, who congratulated the unit\u2019s command and personnel on their distinction. <\/p>\n

Mr. Dendias<\/strong>, in a post on the social network X<\/strong>, emphasized that the Armed Forces<\/strong> are not defined solely by their operational<\/strong> role, but also by their responsibility<\/strong> they bear toward the natural environment<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n

It was with great pleasure that I attended today\u2019s award ceremony for the 871st ABEK, recognized as an \u201cEnvironmentally Friendly\u201d Armed Forces Unit for 2025. <\/p>\n
