His own response <\/b>following the issuance of the court ruling in the case concerning personal data <\/b>, Nikos Theodoropoulos<\/b> emphasizing that he was acquitted <\/b>unanimously of the charge of breach of official confidentiality<\/b>.<\/p>\n

In a post on social media, Mr. Theodoropoulos stated that \u201ctoday, the judiciary <\/b>spoke,\u201d and emphasized that he was unanimously acquitted of the charge which, he claims, formed the core <\/b>of the allegations leveled against him over the past two and a half years.<\/p>\n

\u201cThose who tried to condemn me <\/b>in the court of public opinion have been soundly defeated,\u201d<\/b> he noted pointedly.<\/p>\n

Referring to the part of the case concerning the violation of personal data<\/b>, for which the court found him guilty by a majority vote, Mr. Theodoropoulos pointed out that the presiding judge dissented<\/b>, calling for his acquittal.<\/p>\n

At the same time, he expressed confidence that this specific issue will be finally decided by the Court of Appeals<\/b>, stating that it \u201cwill be definitively clarified\u201d on appeal.<\/p>\n
