The head of the Iranian negotiating team and Speaker of Parliament Bayer Galibaf <\/b>announced on Telegram that Tehran and Muscat have formed a joint committee<\/b> to discuss the issue of the .<\/p>\n

Earlier, the Iranian news agency IRNA reported that, led by Galibaf, an Iranian negotiating team visited Oman<\/b> for talks regarding the management of the Strait of Hormuz.<\/p>\n

The administration of the Strait \u201cwill never return to what it was before the war,\u201d<\/b> said Galibaf, according to Irna. \u201cIran will administer\u201d the Strait, he added.<\/p>\n

At least 36 ships carrying raw materials <\/b>passed through the Strait of Hormuz yesterday, according to data from the Kpler platform, nearly a week after the conclusion of the memorandum of understanding between Iran and the U.S.<\/b>.<\/p>\n

Yesterday\u2019s ship traffic amounted to one-third of pre-war levels, when around 120 ships passed through the strait daily.<\/b><\/p>\n

The Strait of Hormuz reopened last week, but Tehran announced on Saturday that it was reclosing the strait in response to continued Israeli attacks on Lebanon.<\/b><\/p>\n

Since then, Tehran and Washington have agreed on measures to end the conflict in Lebanon and ensure the operation of the Strait of Hormuz.<\/p>\n
