On the show \u201cBehind the Lines\u201d<\/strong> on Action24<\/strong>, lawyer Michalis Dimitrakopoulos<\/strong> discussed the case of Dimitris Avramopoulos<\/strong>, arguing that the charges against him are identical to those that had been brought against Eva Kaili<\/strong> in the context of Qatargate<\/strong>. <\/p>\n As he noted, these involve the offenses of participation in a criminal organization<\/strong>, corruption<\/strong>, and money laundering<\/strong>. According to him, in the case of Ka\u00efli<\/strong>, four years have passed without any definitive progress in the case. <\/p>\n Dimitrakopoulos<\/strong> also claimed that in the case of Avramopoulos<\/strong>, the funds under investigation were declared<\/strong> and taxed<\/strong>, expressing the view that the case constitutes \u201ca blunder<\/strong>.\u201d <\/p>\n At the same time, he cited an article in Lib\u00e9ration<\/strong> report, according to which Qatargate<\/strong> has evolved into \u201cBelgium-gate\u201d<\/strong>, noting that even investigative officials<\/strong> are currently under investigation in connection with the case.
