And that\u2019s not all. The once-powerful movement, in order to secure these additions (its former officials, whom not even God could truly turn into \u201cexpansion\u201d), <b>is violating the rules it had set for \u201cyears in Parliament,\u201d<\/b> etc. In contrast, President Alexis, who has already put the angry Nikos trailing behind him in the polls, sets conditions and enforces them. <b>Even dissolving political parties.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>From these first few weeks of the family double act in the Center-Left, it has already become obvious that on one side (PASOK) there are some weary old-timers (who treat <b>Andreas Papandreou<\/b> as if he were still present), and on the other, <b>beardless youngsters who may spout nonsense but appear carefree<\/b>. They arouse curiosity and feelings of support. The \u201cRed Cat\u201d visited yesterday <b>the offices of a leading pollster<\/b> in the northern suburbs, perched on his windowsill and overheard an interesting conversation with a politician friend of his (a \u201cgreen\u201d who never changed), who was sitting on the couch with him enjoying a freddo espresso.<\/p>\n<p><b>Politician:<\/b> \u201cPeople say whatever they want about Tsipras\u2019s staff, but the public will soon catch on to them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><b>Pollster:<\/b> \u201cFor now, the second string is on the field; they\u2019re getting playing time\u2014and thus experience\u2014and those providing support are refining their arguments for deconstructing the opposition, so they\u2019ll gradually improve.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><b>Politician:<\/b> \u201cMeaning?\u201d<\/p>\n<p><b>Pollster:<\/b> \u201cThe game will be decided when the first team takes the field.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>And the classic cat\u2019s question: If Nikos Androulakis brings <b>Theodora Tzakri<\/b> back to PASOK, will it be good or bad for Stefanos Kasselakis? Will it be good or bad for Alexis Tsipras? Is anyone over at Harilaou Trikoupi keeping track of how the party\u2019s voters\u2014who for 15 years have watched their former comrades\u2014who <b>moved over to SYRIZA<\/b>\u2014view these comebacks (disasters)? the party\u2019s voters, who for 15 years watched their former comrades\u2014who <b>defected to SYRIZA for their political survival<\/b>\u2014mock them? And now they want to do the same thing again (survive politically) by coming back. Simply because they are now unwelcome to Alexis Tsipras.<\/p>\n<h3><b>What a country<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><b><\/b><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">At some point yesterday, the \u201cRed Cat\u201d came face-to-face with the news that the president of the Hellenic Police, who is already \u2014according to his own statements\u2014an official opposition figure without actually being in Parliament (truly strange things), had formed\u2026 a shadow government.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Another one of those \u201cpreparing for the future\u201d types has found us. What a crazy country. But it\u2019s worth sharing our Cat\u2019s thoughts with you: \u201c<b>The news about Alexis\u2019s shadow government is that there is no news<\/b>.\u201d In other words, he brought in unknown figures so he could claim he\u2019s bringing something new to politics, and then\u2026<b> a Kinder Surprise<\/b>. We\u2019re talking about the man who promised to tear up the memoranda\u2014with half the party believing him\u2014and did the exact opposite. So everyone can imagine what he\u2019ll say and do when surrounded by officials whose views no one knows.<\/p>\n<p>In any case, our Cat continues to monitor President Alexis\u2019s social media for any activity. Well, as of the time these lines were written (editor\u2019s note: a truly wonderful journalistic clich\u00e9 for all those who heroically persist in publishing newspapers), everything was\u2026 quiet. This wretched digital age! You make a couple of phone calls, read and approve a list they gave you, and you\u2019re all set. Or so you think, at least.<\/p>\n<h3><b>Oh! The times, oh! The customs<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>We live in an era when Stefanos Kasselakis is interviewing Adonis Georgiadis, and where the account \u201cPen Dalaoura\u201d account praises\u2014not Theoni\u2014but Nikos Hatzinikolaou, who subsequently invited the ousted president of SYRIZA onto their show! <b>\u201cNikos @Nchatzinikolaou slams the Tsiprolagni and the followers of Tsipras\u2019s cult\u201d<\/b>, the post begins, and continues: <b>\u201cAn excellent initiative by @Directbysk, with Stefanos @skasselakis hosting Adonis @AdonisGeorgiadi\u201d<\/b>. My God, who am I, poor old Cat? Where is our world headed? What kind of world are kittens growing up in?<\/p>\n<h3><b>There\u2019s more to come<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>And then\u2026 it takes off: \u201cA high-level debate between two political rivals meeting European standards, featuring substantive arguments and political debate\u2014not the fireworks and shouting matches we\u2019ve grown accustomed to in Greece\u2014and both political rivals deserve congratulations for this exceptional initiative, where citizens were given a direct voice through a party leader and a government minister.\u201d Could this be AI? Like the videos created by <b>Zoe Konstantopoulou<\/b> that show the prime minister starring in various fantasies of hers?<\/p>\n<h3><b>No originality, unbearable repetition<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>\u201cGreek Left Coalition\u201d\u2014Alexis. \u201cTogether, Left, Forward\u201d by<b> Gabriel Sakellaridis.<\/b> In other words, ELAS versus\u2026 MAM! No problem, we\u2019ll remember that easily, but doesn\u2019t \u201ctogether\u201d remind you a little of PASOK (ed. note: Simitis\u2019s \u201call together\u201d) and wasn\u2019t \u201cforward\u201d the New Democracy slogan in the previous elections? They could even run their slogan through some AI apps to double-check it. <\/p>\n<p>P.S.: To avoid any misunderstanding, the very likable <b>Gabriel<\/b>, who\u2026 embraced the legacy of the New Left, did not change the party\u2019s name.
