In a particularly scathing post on Facebook<\/strong>, Nikos Karanikas<\/strong> commented on the interview given by Alexis Tsipras<\/strong> to journalist Antonis Stroiter<\/strong>, whom he described \u201cone of the most civilized, distinguished, and capable journalists.\u201d <\/p>\n In his post, he argues that, following this particular appearance, the former prime minister has definitively distanced himself from Left, while appearing to express a \u201cSYRIZA 2023<\/b>,\u201d seeking, as he states, solely a return to governing<\/strong> and the privileges of power. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n Karanikas<\/strong> describes Alexis Tsipras<\/strong> \u201ctragicomic,\u201d arguing that his policy proposals lack both merit and credibility. At the same time, he speaks of a \u201cIX <\/b>party,\u201d claiming that it has gathered officials who, as he states, are interested only in power, even though until recently they were launching fierce attacks against him.
