{"id":12934,"date":"2026-06-26T08:35:00","date_gmt":"2026-06-26T05:35:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.tomanifesto.gr\/?p=12934"},"modified":"2026-06-26T08:35:00","modified_gmt":"2026-06-26T05:35:00","slug":"nikos-karanikas-launches-new-attack-on-tsipras-interview-with-stroiter-party-no-9-and-the-end-of-the-moral-high-ground","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.tomanifesto.gr\/?p=12934","title":{"rendered":"Nikos Karanikas Launches New Attack on Tsipras\u2019 Interview with Stroiter: \u201cParty No. 9\u201d and the End of the Moral High Ground"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>     Nikos Karanikas launches a fierce attack on Alexis Tsipras following his interview, questioning his credibility and political aspirations. <\/p>\n<p>     In a particularly scathing post on <strong>Facebook<\/strong>, <strong>Nikos Karanikas<\/strong> commented on the interview given by <strong>Alexis Tsipras<\/strong> to journalist <strong>Antonis Stroiter<\/strong>, whom he described \u201cone of the most civilized, distinguished, and capable journalists.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>     In his post, he argues that, following this particular appearance, the former prime minister has definitively distanced himself from Left, while appearing to express a \u201cSYRIZA<b> 2023<\/b>,\u201d seeking, as he states, solely a return to <strong>governing<\/strong> and the privileges of power. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h3>     <strong>Fierce criticism from Karanikas: \u201cA \u2018car party\u2019 and leaders lacking credibility\u201d<\/strong> <\/h3>\n<p>     <strong>Karanikas<\/strong> describes <strong>Alexis Tsipras<\/strong> \u201ctragicomic,\u201d arguing that his policy proposals lack both merit and credibility. At the same time, he speaks of a \u201c<b>IX <\/b>party,\u201d claiming that it has gathered officials who, as he states, are interested only in power, even though until recently they were launching fierce attacks against him.
