According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the Ukrainian drones targeted more than ten Russian regions,<\/b> including Moscow, the Crimean Peninsula <\/b>, which has been annexed since 2014, \u2014where, two days ago, Kyiv destroyed a railway bridge that was \u201ckey\u201d to supplying the Russian army\u2014in the Black Sea<\/b> and the Sea of Azov.<\/b><\/p>\n
At least 47 Ukrainian unmanned aerial systems were heading toward Moscow starting at 02:29, according to the latest report. \u201cEmergency response specialists are working at the crash sites,\u201d said the city\u2019s mayor Sergei Shabianin <\/b>on Telegram, without, however, mentioning any casualties or damage.<\/p>\n
A \u201cmassive\u201d drone attack also targeted the Tula region, about 180 kilometers south of Moscow, according to Regional Governor Dmitry Milaev<\/b>.\u00a0\u201cA woman was injured\u201d when a house was struck and \u201csuffered damage\u201d in the Shchekino area, Milayev reported via Telegram.<\/p>\n
In recent months, the Ukrainian armed forces have escalated their campaign of strikes using long-range drones against Russia, targeting primarily energy infrastructure, with the aim of depriving the Kremlin of the main source of revenue it uses to finance its war effort.<\/b><\/p>\n
