Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs <b>Haris Theocharis highlighted the strategic potential of Greek participation<\/b> in projects <b>related to energy, infrastructure, and investment projects<\/b>, while <b>he also signed and endorsed a series of memoranda of cooperation that strengthen the bilateral economic and political<\/b> partnership with <b>Ukraine<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>Specifically,<b> Deputy Foreign Minister Haris Theocharis<\/b>, represented <b>Greece at the International Conference on the Reconstruction of Ukraine<\/b>, which took place <b>on Thursday, June 25, in Gda\u0144sk, Poland<\/b>.<\/p>\n<h3>Greece Supports Ukraine<\/h3>\n<p>Speaking on a key panel at the Conference, Mr. Theocharis emphasized that Greece has consistently and steadfastly supported Ukraine. The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs also highlighted the potential for a substantial Greek contribution to the country\u2019s reconstruction.<\/p>\n<p>The spirit of friendship and solidarity between the two countries was enshrined in the relevant Memorandum of Understanding, which was signed by Mr. Theocharis together with Ukraine\u2019s Deputy Minister of Community and Territorial Development, Alona Shkrum, with the aim of strengthening bilateral cooperation in the face of the major and multifaceted challenges posed by Ukraine\u2019s recovery and reconstruction efforts.<\/p>\n<p>More specifically, the Memorandum provides, among other things, for cooperation in project preparation, technical assistance, the exchange of know-how, public-private partnerships, and the promotion of business collaborations in sectors such as construction, energy, renewable energy, and water management.<\/p>\n<p>The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs also attended the signing of Memoranda of Cooperation between Greek companies and the Ukrainian company Naftogaz.
