Large-scale police operation<\/strong> operation <\/a> took place on the morning of June 25 in neighborhoods of Aspropyrgos<\/strong>, with the aim of preventing and combating illegal activities that are systematically reported in the area. <\/p>\n

The operation was organized by the Western Attica Police Directorate <\/b>, and involved forces from the OPKE<\/b>, the DI.AS. Unit,<\/b> the Traffic Police, the Western Attica Criminal Investigation Division, as well as a drone and a police dog. <\/p>\n

As part of the inspections s, six individuals<\/strong> were arrested, against whom charges were filed for electricity theft and violations of the Highway Code.<\/strong> <\/p>\n

At the same time, 36 violations were confirmed for driving without a license, failure to wear a seatbelt, lack of a vehicle inspection certificate, and other violations, while 3 vehicle registration certificates and 14 driver\u2019s licenses were revoked.<\/strong> <\/p>\n

During searches of residences, two high-powered speakers and a hunting carbine were seized. <\/p>\n

Particular emphasis was placed on electricity theft. Crews from HEDNO <\/strong>removed 2,657 meters of cables used for illegal connections, while 28 cases of electricity theft were identified in residential properties. <\/p>\n
