According to the fire department, the fire, shortly after approximately 1:30 p.m., is burning near homes, and at 2:30 p.m., a message was issued by 112 instructing residents of the Petra area to evacuate toward Livadia. <\/p>\n
The fire has already reached the settlement and is threatening the first house, while a large contingent of firefighters is battling the strong winds. The operation involves 45 firefighters, including 2 foot patrol teams from the 4th EMODE, 13 vehicles, 6 aircraft, and one helicopter, while construction machinery and water tankers from the Region of Central Greece are providing support. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n
