{"id":13226,"date":"2026-06-27T19:13:00","date_gmt":"2026-06-27T16:13:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.tomanifesto.gr\/?p=13226"},"modified":"2026-06-27T19:13:00","modified_gmt":"2026-06-27T16:13:00","slug":"arta-fire-in-vlacherna-over-100-stremmata-reduced-to-ashes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.tomanifesto.gr\/?p=13226","title":{"rendered":"Arta: Fire in Vlacherna \u2014 Over 100 stremmata reduced to ashes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>More than 100 stremmata of land <b>were burned<\/b> by the <b>fire<\/b> that broke out in Vlacherna, Arta, however, residential areas were not directly threatened.<\/p>\n<p>The Arta Investigative Task Force for Arson Crimes has gone to the \u201cKeraias\u201d area in Vlacherna, Arta, to investigate the causes of the fire that broke out shortly after 5:00 p.m. in a grassland area, prompting a large-scale mobilization of firefighting forces.<\/p>\n<p>Ground crews from the Fire Department were deployed to combat the fire, while three firefighting aircraft and two helicopters operated from the air, continuously dropping water.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to the coordinated efforts of firefighters and aerial resources, the fire is now subsiding.
