A new political controversy<\/strong> was sparked by the statements made by Theodora Tzakri<\/strong> regarding the interview given by Adonis Georgiadis <\/b>to Stefanos Kasselakis.<\/b> The MP made it clear that she had not been informed of or asked about this initiative and stated that she does not agree with it. <\/p>\n

Her statement did not go unanswered. The Minister of Health responded via a social media post, defended the public debate with Stefanos Kasselakis, and launched an attack against the MP, while also commenting on speculation about her return to PASOK<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

\u201cI wasn\u2019t asked; I don\u2019t agree\u201d <\/h2>\n

During her appearance on a television program on OPEN<\/strong>, Theodora Tzakri was asked to comment on Adonis Georgiadis\u2019s interview with Stefanos Kasselakis. <\/p>\n

Her response was clear: \u201cI wasn\u2019t asked; it\u2019s not something I agree with.\u201d<\/strong> <\/p>\n

A short while later, the Minister of Health published a lengthy post in which he defended the interview, arguing that it was an example of political civility<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

As he stated: \u201c…and yet this discussion went extremely well, and I believe it highlighted a political culture that we ultimately need\u2014and which Ms. Tzachri obviously does not understand, as she apparently struggles with foreign languages….\u201d<\/strong> <\/p>\n

In the same post, Adonis Georgiadis made an extensive reference to Theodora Tzakri\u2019s political career, from PASOK<\/strong> to SYRIZA<\/strong> and then to the party of Stefanos Kasselakis<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

This morning, @tzakri, the member of parliament who is preparing to return to @PASOK after having abandoned it at its most difficult moment and accused them of being too accommodating toward creditors, in order to join @syriza_gr led by @atsipras because it was \u201canti-memorandum,\u201d but\u2026 <\/p>\n

At the same time, he sarcastically commented on the rumors of her return to PASOK, writing: \u201c…they\u2019ll have to change so they can bring her back to PASOK, lest they lose such a gem…\u201d<\/strong> <\/p>\n
