Speaking at the conference of the ruling \u201cUnited Russia\u201d party ahead of the parliamentary elections to be held in September, Vladimir Putin<\/b> pledged today that \u201che will guarantee the country\u2019s security and address the challenges.\u201d This is because Ukraine <\/b>is fighting back and continuing its strikes against Russian military and refinery infrastructure, in an effort to weaken Moscow\u2019s war effort.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe see the problems. We acknowledge them and are addressing them. However, we will undoubtedly guarantee the security of our country and our citizens<\/b>,\u201d said Russian President Vladimir Putin at his party\u2019s conference. <\/p>\n
\u201cWe will undoubtedly tackle all the challenges we face today, including terrorist attacks against our territory and infrastructure<\/b>,\u201d Vladimir Putin emphasized, referring to Kyiv\u2019s strikes on the territory of Russia<\/b>.<\/p>\n
We recall that in recent months, Ukraine has intensified its campaign of strikes against Russia and the regions of Ukraine under Russian control. Ukraine\u2019s campaign is being carried out as retaliation for the bombings of Moscow<\/b>that have plunged the city into mourning almost daily since the start of the full-scale Russian offensive in February 2022.<\/p>\n
It should be noted that Kyiv is primarily targeting energy infrastructure<\/b>in order to stop the flow of massive profits from hydrocarbons that allow the Kremlin to finance its war effort.<\/p>\n
Russian President, Vladimir Putin<\/b> made these remarks a few hours after a massive attack by Ukrainian drones in the Krasnodar region of southwestern Russia, during which one person was killed and a fire broke out at the large Slavyansk refinery on the Kuban River, according to regional governor Benjamin Kontratyev.<\/p>\n
It should be noted that on June 18, an attack took place at a large refinery in Moscow, causing major explosions and a widespread fire.<\/p>\n
