The AADE is launching the digital receipt, adding new features and significantly simplifying transactions taxpayers.<\/p>\n
The AADE<\/strong> will launch the issuance of digital payment receipts<\/strong> as of July 1, 2026<\/strong>, implementing significant improvements and simplifications to the relevant procedures. Pursuant to the decisions of Administrator Giorgos Pitsilis (A.1124\/2026 and A.1125\/2026), the goal is to provide faster service to citizens, businesses, and accountants, with less bureaucracy and time savings.<\/p>\n Starting July 1<\/strong>, the digital receipt<\/strong> for central payments, credits, refunds, and offsets will be issued automatically<\/strong> and will be immediately available through the myAADE<\/strong> digital portal, without the need to submit a request or visit an AADE office. Access is available via the path \u201cMy Account > Digital Payment Receipt\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The new receipt covers debt payments<\/strong> made through credit institutions using a debit or credit card, cards, or IRIS<\/strong>, refunds of amounts withheld when issuing a certificate of good standing or a debt confirmation, reimbursements following seizures by third parties, as well as central offsets<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Access to the application may be granted to the taxpayer<\/strong> themselves, their legal representative, or an authorized accountant<\/strong>. If electronic access is not possible, the certificate will continue to be issued upon request to the competent department of the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE).
